  1. Rethinking waste as a resource

    Rethinking Waste as a Resource

Plastic waste is not a problem — it is a valuable resource. We are rethinking the cycle and giving used plastic a second life. What would otherwise be thrown away is transformed into something new.

  2. Growing roots together

    Growing Roots Together

Sustainability thrives through people who take part. Take on small challenges in everyday campus life, collect points, and become part of the Roots of Change community. As a reward, you’ll receive your own flower pot — a visible symbol of your contribution to a more sustainable future.

  3. Locally and sustainably produced

    Locally & Sustainably Produced

From granulate to the finished pot — all produced right here on campus. At the LIT Factory at JKU, we transform recycled plastic into new flower pots. Sustainable, regional, and transparent: production you can experience firsthand.
